About ARA Rising Stars
The purpose of the ARA Rising Stars program, sponsored by Atticus, is to provide a vehicle for member organizations to reward top performers by offering unique professional development and networking opportunities. When you invest in your team's professional development journey, you increase the likelihood of retaining that top talent for years to come.
Why participate?
As one of the first programs in the ARA Professional Development Pathway, the Rising Stars program is an opportunity to introduce emerging leaders to ARA by further reducing their member registration rate to attend the 2021 ARA Conference & Expo, held Nov. 30 - Dec. 2 in San Antonio, Texas. Hundreds of ag professionals will celebrate 2021's Rising Stars as they take their awards center stage on Dec. 2.
Rising Stars will attend sessions on cutting-edge topics such as the retailer's role in carbon markets, post-pandemic business changes, farmer buying decisions, and more! At premier networking events such as the Chairman's Reception, Rising Stars will mingle with some of the leading professionals in the industry including the ARA Board of Directors. Note: nominating company is responsible for discounted conference registration.
Rising Stars will also complete the ARA NAVIGATOR 360° online assessment, which was built last year specifically for leaders in agriculture, at no cost to your organization. Through diagnostic feedback from peers and supervisors, this assessment shows gaps between the leadership the organization has and the leadership the organization needs. Then, Rising Stars can see a list of programs designed to hone their unique competencies and fill skill gaps.
Once nominations are reviewed, accepted Rising Stars will submit a video for a chance to win a trip to visit the Atticus headquarter office.
How to nominate
Nominate candidates by completing the application below. Please note:
- More than one individual from the same company may be nominated;
- Nominee(s) must be employed by an ARA member company in good standing; and
- Nominee(s) must be an individual who has not yet attended the ARA Conference & Expo.
