The Agricultural Retailers Association Political Action Committee (ARAPAC) is essential to influencing public policy and advocating for the agricultural retailers, distributors, and suppliers. Funds from ARAPAC contributions allow ARA staff and members to attend political events and financially support members of Congress that support our industry.

A new quarterly e-newsletter will be sent highlighting political events attended by ARA staff and members along with ARAPAC disbursements.

ARAPAC Events

ARAPAC events are usually held at the ARA Conference and Winter Board Meeting. While these events might look a bit different this year, ARAPAC will continue to offer opportunities throughout the year.

Pledge now - pay later!

Pledge a specific amount to ARAPAC to be paid in full by the start of the 2021 ARA Conference & Expo, Nov. 30 - Dec. 2. in San Antonio, Texas. The pledge amount can be billed annually or bi-annually. You will immediately receive all of the benefits of your giving level. All contributions to ARAPAC are voluntary and must be personal. Pledge amount does not include auction purchases.

I understand contributions to ARAPAC, a federally registered political action committee, are voluntary and members, without concern for reprisal, are not obligated to contribute. Contributions are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires political action committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose personal contributions exceed $200.00 per calendar year. Foreign nationals cannot contribute to ARAPAC. The maximum individual donation to a Federal PAC is $5,000 per calendar year. Federal law stipulates that individuals may not receive reimbursement from a corporation for personal funds contributed to a PAC.

I affirmatively accept membership to the Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) in my personal capacity, separate from any membership or association to ARA that may be extended to me through any business or corporation. I understand and agree to join ARA’s Leaders of Industry category separate from any entity other than myself as outlined by the ARA bylaws. I have read and fully understand ARA’s bylaws and fully accept and agree the terms and sanctions outlined therein. I understand this event is an Agricultural Retailers Association Political Action Committee (ARAPAC) event and my participation is completely voluntary. All money I spend at this event (purchasing the ticket and/or auction items) will be with my personal funds.
